Feather Extensions

My sister works at Goldwaves Salon in Fort Worth and I was there this weekend getting my hair cut. All week my sis had been going on and on about these feather extensions that they offer. I am not one for high maintenance hair, so when she explained that you can treat it just like hair that got me interested. You can straighten, curl, blow dry, etc. That's pretty fun, eh? So, I should have taken picts of the stylist there that had them because they are super fun. Maybe will repost after I get some :) Here is what they look like…

Digging Steven Alan Spring 2011

Anton Yelchin Fan

The first time I saw the movie Charlie Bartlett and watched this in particular scene I came unglued. I was crying with laughter. Anton Yelchin is hilarious and great in everything I have seen with him in it (Star Trek + Middle of Nowhere), but this is my all time fav! If you haven't seen Charlie Bartlett I highly recommend. To set up this clip, his character just got kicked out of an all boys boarding school and just entered his first public high school, where he is auditioning for the school play. Also, starring Kat Dennings, Robert Downey Jr., and Hope Davis.

Just came across the Michael Angarano + Uma Thurman + Lee Pace movie that is to come out in April. It was written and directed by Max Winkler (a la Fonzie's son). From the trailer this movie looks funny, clever, and the art direction makes me giddy! It is like a 1960s, New England, circus, prep, Wes Anderson style photography. There is a bright yellow dune buggy, colorful lanterns, lights, a picnic, maybe a some sort of race with an easter basket, quirky bunting, umbrellas (sun and patio), color blocking, confetti, and my fav is the still of Michael Angarano with the tennis racquet wallpaper in the background. I dig it!

Warm Wood + Snowy Winter

On my way back from Starbucks this morning, I couldn't resist taking a pict of this modern house in my hood. The pretty warm wood next to the snowy white was just such a pretty combination. The second pict is the road that the house sits on. Too pretty!
BTW the roads are NOT as fun!

Grey Gardens: For Rent

I saw this on Curbed Hamptons this morning. Not sure why I subscribed to some of the websites I do, but now I have a ridiculous knowledge of the 5 burrows and outlying areas real estate market. I know random. Oh but how I would love to hang out here for two weeks and hit on that beautiful clay court, but $135,000 is a little steep. Well not just a little :) I would be curious to know who actually rents it.

Room for Hero

My friends Chris and Tabitha have created the cutest room for their, soon to be delivered, baby girl Hero. The room was already white on white on white. All the matching white is pretty impressive. Now they have added in all the sweet baby furniture and this super fun vinyl graphic, which they said that they got to customize the color from the etsy seller.
Thanks for letting me post lady!

Cabin Fever

We got a snow day, as a blanket of ice and snow came down over Texas last night. So today, the girls were cooped up inside all day and finally had to let off a little steam.

Dizzy Love

Outside is her absolute favorite!

Angus and Julia Stone

Really talented and pretty people that come from the same gene pool as they are brother and sister. It's like they can't take a bad pict or anyone that takes a pict of them are great at their job. Let's give a little credit to both :)
